    As an important branch of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology has made rapid progress worldwide in areas of basic and clinical research, involving both benign and malignant diseases. The rate of growth in knowledge and the number of emerging technologies have raised real barriers to dissemination of important information.

    Women in China account for nearly 15% of the world's female population, and China's clinical and basic science researchers too have made breakthrough discoveries contributing to the worlds progress. Unfortunately, English has become the default language of science, and the recognition deserved by Chinese and other non English speakers is often shrouded in anonymity created by a language barrier. It is time for a change.

    We created the Journal of “Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine (GOCM)” to build an international and comprehensive platform and reach the international scientific community and enhance communication between Chinese and international healthcare providers and researchers. GOCM is an open access journal that encompasses all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, particularly focusing on the latest development in gynecology oncology, oncofertility, pelvic medicine, maternal-fetal health care, reproductive medicine, public health, disease prevention, and cutting-edge research of obstetrics and gynecology worldwide.

    In the process of setting up GOCM, we have received great support from many distinguished experts and scholars who now make up our editorial board. Open access is revolutionizing communication in science. We sincerely invite you to join the revolution and share with the world your academic achievements, clinical experience and opinions on this platform.
